Some books that have improved my own bass fishing
Spending a lot of time on the water teaches you a lot about many things - you notice patterns and behaviours and lots of other phenomena. Not every angler has the opportunity or has the time to spend countless hours in a 'test lab' and so cannot learn as fast as people who fish more than they do.
Reading about different fishing experiences from writers in similar or even dissimilar environments to my own, emphasises the experiences and the things I have witnessed. Including in my own thoughts, techniques, approaches, and tactics as described by other angling writers helps me improve, they are all there to think about, absorb and learn.
